Terms and conditions of service
Last updated: 26 September 2026
This text is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Scope
These terms govern the hiring of the freelance services of Isaac Camps Bocquet (3D modeling, texturing and Unreal Engine 5 integration). They apply together with the pro forma quote you accept; in case of conflict, the pro forma prevails. They do not apply to assets sold on Fab, which are governed by Fab's terms.
The provider's details are listed in the legal notice.
2. Quote (pro forma)
Every commission starts with a written quote proposal (pro forma) detailing the scope, deliverables, formats, estimated timeline and price, broken down into taxable base, applicable VAT and total. It also states the reserved start date and, always, the applicable hourly rate, which is the one used to calculate the work done in case of cancellation or withdrawal. The binding price is the one in the accepted pro forma.
The pro forma is valid for 30 days. After that period, price and dates may be revised. The contract is concluded when you accept the pro forma in writing (an email is enough) and the first payment is received.
3. Price and taxes
Prices are stated in euros and exclude VAT. The applicable VAT is detailed in each pro forma according to the type and country of the client. If you are a consumer, the pro forma always shows the final price including all taxes.
4. Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer only, in two instalments:
- 50% when accepting the pro forma. Once this payment is received the dates are booked, and work starts on the start date stated in the pro forma.
- The remaining 50% when I notify you that the project is ready for delivery, within 7 days of that notice. The final files are sent once this second payment is received.
If the second payment is not received within 30 days of the notice, the commission is considered cancelled and the cancellation and refund policy applies.
5. Process and timelines
The work follows these stages: references and brief, blockout and approval, production (modeling and texturing), Unreal Engine 5 integration and delivery. Timelines in the pro forma are estimates and depend on you replying to interim deliveries within a reasonable time. Delays in approvals or in sending material on your side may move the delivery date.
6. Previews and delivery
Before the final payment, only previews are shared (screenshots or videos with a watermark or in low resolution), never editable files. The final files (models, textures and, where applicable, the Unreal Engine project) are sent once the second payment is received, in the formats agreed in the pro forma.
7. Revisions
The price includes one round of revisions after delivery, for adjustments within the agreed scope. Changes outside that scope are quoted separately before being carried out.
8. Intellectual property and usage licence
Unless the pro forma states otherwise, the client receives an exclusive licence to use the assets in their project: they may use and modify the assets in that project, including for commercial purposes.
- Exclusive to the client: the models, textures and specific designs created for their project. Isaac Camps Bocquet does not resell them or reuse them in other work.
- What Isaac Camps Bocquet retains: generic tools and resources, pre-existing or of general use (master materials, shaders, generic trim sheets, base pieces, scripts, workflows and know-how), which may continue to be used in other work as long as they do not reproduce the specific design of the commission.
- Any exception to these criteria is detailed in the pro forma.
In addition:
- The licence only takes effect once 100% of the price has been paid.
- Isaac Camps Bocquet retains authorship and the moral rights, which cannot be waived (art. 14 of the Spanish Intellectual Property Law).
- A full assignment of rights or a non-exclusive licence is available under a separate quote.
9. Third-party resources
Third-party materials or assets included in a commission (for example, from Megascans or Fab) keep their own licence and are not assigned to the client; the exclusive licence in section 8 does not extend to them. They will be listed on delivery, and you may need your own licence to use them.
10. Portfolio use
Isaac Camps Bocquet may show the work (images, videos and breakdowns) in the portfolio and on social media once the client's project has been launched, or earlier with the client's permission, unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
11. Confidentiality and client materials
Information you share about your project will be treated confidentially. If you provide references, trademarks or materials, you warrant that you have the right to use them for the commission.
12. Liability
In business-to-business commissions, the provider's liability is limited to the amount charged for the commission, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. This limitation does not apply to consumers and does not restrict the rights granted to them by law.
13. If you are a consumer
If you hire as a private individual, for purposes outside a professional activity, you have the rights granted by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users), including the right of withdrawal explained in the cancellation and refund policy and the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services. If you want work to start before the withdrawal period ends, you must expressly request it when accepting the pro forma.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
