Cancellation and refund policy

This text is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Services are custom-made, following each client's instructions. What happens to payments on cancellation depends on when it occurs and on whether you hire as a consumer or as a business.

1. If you are a consumer: right of withdrawal

If you hire at a distance as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of its conclusion, without giving any reason (arts. 102 et seq. of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users). This right prevails over section 2.

If you want work to start before those 14 days end, you must expressly request it when accepting the pro forma and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw before then, you will pay for the work done up to the withdrawal (art. 108(3)), calculated at the hourly rate in the pro forma.
You lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, if it started with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose it (art. 103(a)). The same applies to digital content once its supply has begun with your express consent and acknowledgement (art. 103(m)).

2. If you cancel the commission

Before the reserved start date stated in the pro forma: 100% of the initial payment is refunded.
Once work has started: the part proportional to the work done is retained, calculated at the hourly rate in the pro forma, up to the amount of the initial payment, and the difference is refunded. You will not receive files unless you pay for the work done.
If the work done exceeds 50% of the quote: the hours worked may be invoiced, up to the full quoted price, and in that case you receive the work done.
If the second payment is not received within 30 days of the notice that the project is ready, the commission is considered cancelled and the above applies.

3. If the provider cancels

If Isaac Camps Bocquet cancels the commission, the initial payment is refunded in full.

4. Assets sold on Fab

Assets sold through Fab (Epic Games) are governed by Fab's refund policy. Requests must be made through the platform itself.
